Hello!  I'm Mrs. Schrader. As the Registrar at Westgate Elementary, I will help your family with getting your student registered for school and completing the forms. Welcome!

HOW TO ENROLL YOUR NEW STUDENT

We offer families a wealth of opportunities suited to student’s individual interests, talents and abilities.

1. Find your school.

Zoned Schools are based on your home address. Find your child's zoned school with the convenient School Zone Locator. See zone maps for Elementary, Middle and High
schools at https://www.pcsb.org/zone.

2. Reserve a seat.

To reserve a K12 seat at a school, families must use the online Focus Student Information System. You can use any computer, including a school computer, to login and reserve a seat.

  • Parents should select "FORMS" and "ONLINE APPLICATION" to apply to reserve a seat. 

  • Once the application is made, you can then apply for a Special Assignment Request or District Application Program application. 

  • Parents must complete the PCS forms for each student before they can access the reservation link.

  • New families will be able to create their parent accounts directly in Focus.

3. Enroll at your school.

The final step is to visit the assigned school to deliver the required documents.

  • Birth certificate or other proof of identity/age (required)
  • Two forms of proof of residency (required)
  • Florida Certificate of Immunization (required)
  • Physical examination certificate (required)
  • Child’s Social Security number
  • Child’s most recent report card
  • Recent Individual Education Plan if applicable
