I am proud to be the Principal at Westgate Elementary. I have been an educator for over twenty years and have served as a teacher, assistant principal, district administrator, and principal in both Pasco and Pinellas Counties. I moved to St. Petersburg six years ago. I am excited to be serving at a school in my own community.

On a personal note, I have two grown children who I love to visit whenever possible. I enjoy sailing, kayaking and all things outdoors. I also have great appreciation for the diversity and vibrant arts culture of St. Petersburg. I am looking forward to supporting your child in having an amazing elementary school experience where they have every opportunity to meet their highest potential.

I am thrilled to continue serving our school community as the Assistant Principal. With over 10 years of experience as an educator, I began my career in Fort Myers, FL, before making the transition to Pinellas five years ago.

Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of supporting and educating students in various capacities, starting as a teacher, then progressing to becoming a mathematics instructional staff developer, and now as your assistant principal. Beyond my passion for education, I find joy in spending time with my family, engaging in crafting activities, and biking to the beach.

As we approach every new school year, I am filled with anticipation of the incredible experiences it will bring, and I am dedicated to ensuring that every student has opportunities to thrive and achieve success.
