Pinellas County Schools hosted a series of community meetings across the district to share school-specific data and gather feedback on population and enrollment trends, facility planning and school utilization.

Kindergarten is an exciting time. Westgate Elementary has a strong literacy program.

Students in kindergarten enjoy a variety of enrichment activities, field trips and special visitors that contribute to a rich learning experience.

Tour the Westgate Kindergarten Program:
We know starting Kindergarten is a special time for families.  Every child is unique and different.  Here at Westgate, we have a great team of veteran teachers who specialize in elementary education and UFLI phonics instruction. We have additional staff to support our ESE and ELL learners.  Each week all students take part in art, music, and PE. Kindergarten is housed in its own secure building and has its own separate playground for daily recess.  Call the front office for a tour.  813-893-2144
