Pinellas County Schools hosted a series of community meetings across the district to share school-specific data and gather feedback on population and enrollment trends, facility planning and school utilization.

YReads! Tutoring

YReads follows a typical schedule afterschool to keep students engaged:

  • Whole Group vocabulary, followed by small group rotations
  • SIPPS - small group tutoring 
  • Reading comprehension or word work depending on reading level 
  • Literacy based activity sheets or a literacy-based game 
  • Some kind of tactile or STEAM station where we practice whatever skills we're working on through creating or working in sensory bins.

Students are recommended for the program by their classroom teacher or another staff member.
