Superintendent Hendrick, Schools Police and the Sheriff's Office share an important safety message as students return to school.
For the third year in a row, Pinellas County Schools is recognized as an 'A' district by the Florida Department of Education.
Pinellas County Schools hosted a series of community meetings across the district to share school-specific data and gather feedback on population and enrollment trends, facility planning and school utilization.
The Makerspace at Westgate Elementary is helped in part by a partnership with LEGO Education and our Media Specialist, Shelley Kappeler, who is a LEGO Education Ambassador.
Students use LEGO to explore curriculum standards in hands-on and creative ways.

In the past, our Makerspace has also hosted a competitive robotics team.
