Pinellas County Schools hosted a series of community meetings across the district to share school-specific data and gather feedback on population and enrollment trends, facility planning and school utilization.

Westgate STEM Program

Students explore the world around them by asking questions, experimenting, and building simple models, which helps them develop critical-thinking skills early on. Integrating STEM into everyday lessons also shows children how these subjects connect to real life—whether through studying nature, using digital tools, or designing solutions to small challenges. By nurturing confidence and excitement in STEM from a young age, schools help students develop a lifelong interest in learning and innovation.

At Westgate STEM is incorporated into daily classroom lessons and offered as an afterschool enrichment program for intermediate students.
